Nelson Dasilva is not just the owner of Paul John & Son Roofing—he’s the one behind much of the work the company is known for today.
Nelson has been the company for over a decade, leading the crew on many of its most complex and high-profile projects. From award-winning work, including the NACIA Award, to copper fabrication featured in Builder & Architect Magazine, to intricate restorations and custom installations, the kind of work that requires a high level of skill and precision. Nelson is not removed from the work—he is on-site, involved in the process, and closely connected to every project. He works alongside his crew, paying attention to the details and making sure each job meets the standard our clients have come to expect.
Nelson takes great pride in his work, his company, and most importantly, his crew. He works six days a week, bringing the same level of focus and dedication to a simple repair as he does to a complex roofing system.
With over a decade of hands-on experience and deep expertise in copper, slate, and cedar work, he is known for his problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and practical knowledge. Clients often turn to him for guidance beyond roofing—because once you work with Nelson, you trust his judgment.

We are a small, focused team and that is by design. Nelson personally oversees every project from the first call to the final cleanup. We do not sell jobs and disappear. We show up, we manage the work, and we make sure every project meets our standard before we leave.
